Beta data — including memories, photos, and account information — may not be preserved into the production release. ToldByUs is operated by ToldByUs ("Company"), based in Arizona, United States. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use ToldByUs. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older. If we discover that an account belongs to a person under 18, we reserve the right to terminate that account and delete all associated data without notice.
During the beta period, ToldByUs is available to United States residents only.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. ToldByUs cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to keep your account credentials secure.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You may not impersonate any other person or use a false identity.
ToldByUs allows you to submit, upload, and store personal content including text, photographs, and documents ("User Content"). You retain all ownership rights to your User Content.
By submitting User Content, you grant ToldByUs a limited, non-exclusive license to store and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not sell, share, or use your personal stories or memories for advertising, marketing, or any commercial purpose.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms and to terminate accounts of users who repeatedly or egregiously violate them.
ToldByUs is a platform that enables users to create and store personal content. We do not create, edit, or endorse User Content. ToldByUs and its creators, owners, employees, and affiliates are not responsible or liable for any User Content posted on the Service, including but not limited to any errors, omissions, defamatory statements, or inaccuracies in such content, or for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any content posted on the Service.
We employ automated content moderation tools to help identify prohibited content, but we do not guarantee that all prohibited content will be detected or removed. The presence of content on ToldByUs does not constitute our endorsement of that content.
The ToldByUs name, logo, design, and all platform features are the intellectual property of ToldByUs. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without our prior written consent.
As a beta service, ToldByUs is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with or without notice, particularly during the beta period.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ToldByUs and its creators, owners, officers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
In no event shall ToldByUs's total liability to you exceed the amount you paid to use the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim (which, for a free beta, is zero dollars).
You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
